Learn to Scuba Dive in the warm waters of your choice!

With PADI being a global organization, you have the option of splitting your course into segments, the most popular is to complete your pool and theory modules here in the UK and then your four open water dives abroad in the luxury of warmer climates of your choice.

What do I need to start?

All equipment and materials are provided in the cost of the course.

What will I do?

As with the PADI Open Water course you will complete between five and six hours in the pool, this being spread over a number of sessions at your convenience. It is here that you will learn the basic skills involved in Scuba Diving. Once you have mastered the skills required and become comfortable in the water, you are then ready for your open water dives.

Whilst attending the pool sessions you will have a small amount of home study to complete at your own pace. You will have your own manual, which is made up of five modules, at the end of each module is a knowledge review to complete at home and in addition to this we give you a small multiple choice quiz to complete here at the dive centre, these quizzes are just to gauge your level of understanding on the theory side of diving.

The modules can also be completed online should your timetable not allow you attend classes.

How long will it take?

The courses at Reefers and Wreckers can be complete over a period of five Thursday evenings.

What will I need?

You must be at least 10 years old and able to comlplete a 200m swim.

Where can I go from here?

We can then provide you with a small amount of paperwork for you to present to the Dive Centre of your choice in your chosen holiday destination. There you will complete the four open water dives required for you to qualify as a PADI Open Water Diver, these dives must be spread over two day’s. Then the rest of your trip can be spent as much under the water as you wish.
